Lauren creates safe environments for transformation so that all may feel valued and celebrated for their diverse beauty.

During her decade in the non-profit industry, Lauren developed a passion for guiding individuals and communities to new levels of knowledge and discernment. Her community-based models of programming were recognized by Governor Northam for improving maternal health outcomes by reducing barriers to care through cross-sectional collaboration among health care providers, paraprofessionals, and community members. 

With an extensive background in the performing arts, Lauren enjoys using her skills in communication to teach and cultivate transformative education. She harnesses her passion for facilitating change by crafting personal and professional development workshops and courses, custom curricula, and keynote presentations.

Unlearning and expanding thought patterns can be challenging and vulnerable. Lauren specializes in crafting containers that allow students to sit safely in discomfort while developing the tools necessary for growth.

A native of Central Virginia with an extensive professional theatre background, Lauren exudes southern hospitality with a healthy portion of honesty and a side of straight talk.

When she’s not spending time with her partner and daughter, Lauren enjoys singing and dancing around the house and on local stages. A fantastic cook, Lauren adores welcoming anyone and everyone into her home for a bowl of soup and a glass of wine, but her favorite place on earth is her chair by the window with a cup of coffee and a book.
